Salamanca’s Independent Bookshop
Salamanca Square is home to some fantastic small businesses, including the Hobart Bookshop. You can check out their website here. While you browse through their extensive collection of Australian and local author’s books, while not take a stroll around the square and see what some of the other exciting businesses have to offer. Just a short walk from the heart of Hobart and the wharf, the Hobart Bookshop is a must-stop, especially if you’re there for the world-famous Salamanca Market held every Saturday.
The Hobart Bookshop includes wheelchair access, is well-lit, warm, vibrant, and almost overflowing with books.
