My name is Mesalie Feleke, originally from Perth, Australia. In my spare time I like to cook, read, and run. I started writing because I really enjoy it and feel inspired everyday by the natural world around me.
What is your preferred genre to write in?
My favourite genre to write in is Romance and Adventure. I like to read romance novels that I have to finish in one day.
What is your writing process?
My writing process involves coffee while I write and lots of research into the book topic.
What are you working on right now?
I’m currently working on the sequel to “The Last Report”. While I don’t want to give too much away, this new installment continues to explore the global climate crisis as Tom carries on Gwen’s legacy. Additionally, I’m excited to be working on a science nonfiction book.
How do you handle a bad review?
I appreciate constructive feedback and make an effort not to take it personally. Climate change is a significant and often debated issue, and I recognise that not everyone will connect with the characters or the story. I’ll keep writing no matter if people love it or not.
What’s next for you as an author?
I might write a different genre and explore different writing styles.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
I would choose the ability to solve all the world’s problems!
